A message of compassion, struggle, and trust from our founder director.
"Social service is not merely about distributing wealth; it is about building a system of equal opportunities where every household has the skill sets to sustain itself."
Dr. Aruna Sen holds a Ph.D. in Development Economics and has dedicated over 20 years to studying rural financial structures. Witnessing the severe hardships of marginal families during the regional economic recessions, she left her academic career to establish the Economic Support Public Service Trust in 2018.
Her approach relies on merging data-driven economic solutions with grassroots community mobilization, ensuring every volunteer is equipped to deliver direct, transparent help to beneficiaries.
"When we founded ESPST, our goal was simple: to create a platform that stands as a pillar of absolute honesty. I wanted every single donor, whether contributing a hundred rupees or millions, to see the physical result of their kindness.
Over these years, we have trained thousands of rural women to become independent tailors, set up primary clinics that treat thousands of senior citizens, and distributed scholarship aids. This is not our success—it is the combined success of our tireless volunteers and generous donors.
Our dream is to expand our digital learning rooms and community medical health clinics to 50 more remote villages by the end of 2027. I invite you to join us on this journey of hope, equality, and humanity."
